Golden Age of Art Contest

5th Annual Golden Age of Art Contest and Exhibit

Artists 50+ are encouraged to enter the 5th Annual Golden Age of Art Contest and Exhibit. Art in any of the following categories will be accepted: a) two-dimensional art oil, watercolor, acrylic, pencil, pen and ink etc. on a flat surface – no larger than 3 feet by 4 feet, b) three dimensional art (ceramic, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, etc.) c) photography.  There is a $10 fee per piece. Limit 3.

Registration and Art drop off May 18th from 12:00 – 7:00pm

Show dates: May 19th – 22nd

Artists Reception: May 22nd 5:00 – 7:00pm

Awards presentation: May 22nd 6:30pm

Art pick-up date: May 23rd 8:00 – 11:00am

Tonight’s movie is “The Book Thief”, PG-13.  In WWII torn Germany, Liesel steals books and shares them with others as a Jewish refugee is being sheltered by her adoptive parents. ( Some violence and images of war)

Concessions will be sold.

Volunteer Guardianship

The Mission of the Volunteer Guardianship Program is to enhance the quality of life of adults living in Hancock County who have been deemed by the Probate Court to be incompetent, by providing qualified legal guardians to serve as concerned, caring advocates and as surrogate decision-makers.
